BVM (USN) celebrated Raksha Bandhan the pious festival of affectionate bond between brothers and sisters with immense fervor. Little munchkins of Shishu vatika tied the Raksha Sutra to their adorable siblings enthusiastically. Zealous Bvmites of middle wing rejoiced the festivities by dancing , singing & capturing the precious moments through photography . Siblings exhibited their sweet togetherness by making hand impressions on their T-shirts & sharing attractively wrapped gifts . Beautiful handmade rakhis ,greeting cards & collages exhibited selfless love for their dear ones. Creative seniors( IX to XII) decorated rakhi-thalis for this pious festival. Their culinary skills were at their best in the form of homemade sumptuous delicacies suiting the occasion . Students also poured their emotions through letter writing for their kins.Budding poet Bhoomi (VII) expressed the significance of the sacred bond through a mesmerizing poem 'mere bhaiya abki baar rakhi par aisi reet chalao' .Promising orator Bhumika (XI) apprised everyone with the historical and cultural significance of the festival.
